The people's government of Luohu district inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Gas on Dec. 5 in a bid to co-develop the Qingshuihe Area.
The deal was signed by Song Yan, member of the Luohu CPC Standing Committee, and Guo Jiajing, vice president of Shenzhen Gas and was witnessed by Luohu Party chief, Luo Yude and chairman of the board of Shenzhen Gas, Li Zhen. Liu Zhiyong, head of the Luohu government, presided over the signing ceremony.
The Qingshuihe Area project is one of the 17 major programs earmarked by Shenzhen city. In 2018, the municipal government decided to build the area into an AI industry base which is set to boost the development of emerging strategic industries such as artificial intelligence, life and health, and information technology.
According to city plans, the Qingshuihe Area will be built into a dynamic traffic hub for the district, an engine for the innovative development of smart industries, and a brand-new pivot for Luohu to further integrate into the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
It was reported that this new cooperation agreement will help facilitate the district's development of land resources, advance industrial transformation, improve the people's livelihood and promote ecological construction.
