Luohu Party chief urges officials to better fulfill their duties
Luo Yude, Party chief of Luohu, gave a lecture on remaining true to the mission of the Communist Party of China. Held on Oct. 31, the lecture was targeted at all officials above the level of deputy-county-head in Luohu district.
The Luohu district committee of the CPC has made the lecture a Party lesson, which has been organized regularly according to the rules of the Party. After that, a seminar on building Shenzhen as a pilot demonstration zone for socialism with Chinese characteristics was hosted by the Luohu committee of the CPC. All Party members above the deputy-county-head level in the district were expected to attend the seminar.
Sun Yi, an official from the Shenzhen city committee of the CPC who is in charge of the supervision of Party members' theoretical studies, attended the opening ceremony of the seminar.
Luo pointed out that since Luohu was established as the first district of Shenzhen some 40 years ago, the district had witnessed great changes due to the hard work of successive generations of Luohu people. He encouraged Party members to carry forward the pioneering and persevering spirit and seize the opportunities of the new era to make new contributions to the district's economic restructuring and the improvement of governance.
Luo pointed out that the construction of the Dawutong emerging industrial belt, the Hongling emerging financial industrial belt and the Hubei-Dongmen international consumption core zone are important projects. He added that they are crucial in improving Luohu's quality of development and will highlight its strategic importance in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
He urged Party members to pay more attention to improving Luohu's overall business environment, pressing ahead with urban renovation projects in the district, and enhancing people's livelihoods as well as improving the quality of the government's public services.
Luo encouraged Party members to take the initiative to learn new knowledge and technologies related to their duties so as to better fulfill their responsibilities.
